General Description:
A bag of caramel-coloured or light brown powder that is commonly used when substituting base malt in partial-mash brews or as an added sugar in “Brewing Can” brews to enhance the Alcohol By Volume percentage, Body and colour of the beer.
Dry Malt Extract is an extracted sugar that is derived, usually from malted barley and thus consists mainly of maltose and dextrin sugars.

fermentable sugar and a flavour enhancer as it induces rich, malty
characteristics when introduced. The Dry Malt Extract as sold by us is a medium malt extract.

Dry Malt Extract is not recommended for back-sweetening a product still containing live yeast as it is highly fermentable and will also add additional flavours to the product.
Dry Malt Extract becomes incredibly hard and sticky when messed and left as it reacts to the moisture in air or on surfaces, thus if you do mess it we highly recommend cleaning it up as soon as possible with soap and water to avoid this.
