General Description
A fine, white or off-white powder that is a common wine or must additive, in which it acts as an antioxidant, removing all the oxygen suspended in the wine and is capable of killing wild yeast and bacteria.
Quantity:
100g packet.
Uses:
Potassium Metabisulfite, through oxygen removal slows down the aging of wine, when correct dosages are applied it is also a capable yeast killer.
Directions/More info:
Add between 1 – 3 grams of Potassium metabisulfite per 20 litres to kill off any wild yeast.
Storage:
Keep in a cool, dry place.
