General Description

A packet of small, hard, white or off-white tablets.

These tablets are the tablet form of Sodium Metabisulfite. Potassium Metabisulfite can also be used. Each tablet is equivalent to 0.42 grams of the powder.

Uses:

Used to sterilize wine, cider and in beer making, to kill bacteria and to inhibit the growth of most wild yeast. Can also be used to eliminate chlorine and chloramines from water solutions before brewing.

Directions/More info:

To kill bacteria and inhibit yeast growth, use 1 tablet per 3.8L must/mash.

To eliminate chlorine and chloramines from water, use 1 tablet per 75L water.
