Dark Belgian Candi Sugar is a pack or bag of large, dark, caramelized sugar crystals that is commonly used in Belgian style beers to significantly raise the Original Gravity of the beer, in turn raising the final Alcohol By Volume content.
Dark Belgian Candi sugar will also impart some dark colour in the beer that is introduced to.
