General Description:

A rigid, stainless steel mesh that is in a circular dome shape.

This mesh is meant to be used by placing it at the bottom of an urn or similar boiler with a heating element in order to shield the element and/or ball valve from large bits of floating sediment and to shield your nylon grain bag from the extreme heat of the element.

Each False bottom comes with an elbow, consisting of a male and female thread, a set of ½” nuts to tighten it to the false bottom and a swage nipple that can be screwed into the elbow – these items are included to help with mash circulation or with transfer through the ball valve.
