General Description

Lime Blossom Flowers also known as Tilia Flowers is an edible flower that stems from the Tilia tree. The Flowers are described to be sweet and sticky, with some very slight citrus notes.

Use Cases

In liquor Lime Blossom Flowers are commonly used to introduce some slight sweetness and citrus notes into a variety of hard liquor and liqueurs.

Lime Blossom is also used to make a tea, which has been described to have a pleasant taste and aroma.

In Herbalism Lime blossom has also been used to treat a variety of illnesses such as colds, coughs, infections and as a sedative.

Keep packet sealed/closed tightly after opening, keep in a cool, dry place and away from pests.

§                     Shelf life

These are dried ingredients and should not spoil in any reasonable time frame provided storage conditions are met, however some flavour and viability may be lost over long periods (Several months) of storage.
