General Description
Chamomile or Camomile Flowers is the common name for the daisy-like plants of the family Asteraceae. The flavour profile of Chamomile flowers can be described as gentle notes of apple along with a mellow, honey-like sweetness.
Use Cases
Chamomile has historically been used for brewing, usually the whole plant was used but for those who would like to make a more historically accurate style of Ale the flowers will more than suffice.
Chamomile is also most notably used in making a herbal tea that is believed by some to have numerous health benefits. Regardless of any related beliefs the tea itself however is widely enjoyed as a flavourful drink that is quite pleasant with the abovementioned flavourful notes.

Though some health benefits may be claimed there is in fact no scientific evidence that supports claims of supposed health benefits and chamomile may in fact have adverse interactions with several prescription medications and herbal products. The consumption of chamomile may even worsen pollen allergies. Preliminary research is however being done on the potential anti-anxiety properties that may be contained within chamomile. As always it is recommended to speak with your local doctor in regards to using this as any sort of treatment or medicine.
§ Storage
Keep packet sealed/closed tightly after opening, keep in a cool, dry place and away from pests.
§ Shelf life
These are dried ingredients and should not spoil in any reasonable time frame provided storage conditions are met, however some flavour and viability may be lost over long periods (Several months) of storage.
