General Description
Carspils is a form of Malted barley that is commonly used as a specialty grain to enhance the dextrin qualities of a brew to increase the body of the beer. Carapils is most commonly used in a variety of beer styles due to its relatively neutral character and creaminess.

Carapils is most commonly used as a dextrin enhancing malt for certain brew styles and has minimal flavour characteristics.
Additional information (If applicable)
Dextrin Malts contain more non-fermentable sugars than base malts, called dextrins – these dextrins cannot be fermented and thus it is not recommended to use dextrin malts such as this as a base.
Storage
Keep product in an airtight container away from pests. If product is milled, it is best to use it within two weeks. For long term storage, it is best to keep the product unmilled until use.
Shelf life
These are dried ingredients and should not spoil in any reasonable time frame provided storage conditions are met, however some flavour and viability may be lost over long periods (Several months) of storage.
