A small bottle containing an iodine solution that is commonly used to test for starch conversion in the brewing process.

Use/Directions:
Take a small sample of your grain mash and place it in a small, white bowl or plate, add a drop of the starch indicator iodine solution to the sampled mash.
Slowly mix in the iodine solution with the sampled mash.
If the colour of the solution/mash mixture turns a darker, blue-black or purple colour, this indicates the presence of starch.
If this mixture turns a yellowish-light brown or orange colour, this indicates the absence of starch and the mash has been well or fully converted.
Disclaimer:
Iodophor can be used as a substitute for this solution, however your results may vary slightly.
Storage:
Keep cap closed and store in a cool, dry place.
