Equipment unused in original packaging in the same state it was on the shelf so that it can be resold can be returned within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. If we are not able to sell it as new again, a refund will not be possible. Any glass items are sent by 3rd party courier are fully done so at the customer's risk as the courier does not allow us to insure these during transport. The website does allow customers to send their own courier which we recommend for glass and other sensitive shipments. Return shipping for the customer's account.
Perishable items like yeast, grains, hops, sugars etc. are unfortunately not returnable unless there is clear evidence that the items are not suitable for brewing or distilling use upon receipt. We supply specialist ingredients to make fermented foods and storing these correctly are important. Yeasts (and other cultures) must be stored in the fridge upon receipt without delay. Hops should be stored in the freezer. Brewing grains do come with insect eggs and sometimes insects as received from the factory / suppliers with the grain. We fumigate all grains when they are received, but as this grade of grain is intended for reprocessing into beer / distilled substances, a couple of live insects should be expected to arrive in the grain. We strongly recommend that the grains be stored in the freezer or blanketed with CO2 if not used when received. Our molasses does not contain SO2 and is therefore in a very slow active state of fermentation. Suitable for distilling, animal feed or for use in horticulture.
