This strain of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae is a top fermenting yeast strain that produces fruity and very phenolic characters reminiscent of dried figs, raisins, plums and dates. Medium flocculation capacity makes this a very popular yeast to be used in all types of Belgian style beers such as Enkel, Dubbel, Tripel & Quadrupel,Belgian Pale, Dark Strong Ale, Belgian Blonde and Pale Ale. Pitch directly in the fermentation vessel on the surface of the wort at the fermentation temperature.
