For your convenience, this site is integrated with third party courier services to automatically calculate the delivery costs in all towns that are serviced by their networks. You are welcome to use the courier service when offered as an option, or to send your own courier to collect if you have selected the collect from a branch option.
From time to time we offer a free shipping promotions to certain locations. The free shipping excludes bulk products (bags of malt), carboys, bottles and items with a dimensions larger than 30 cm x 40 cm x 25cm. The free shipment has to be shipped as a single item and the value of qualifying items have to be over R1000.00 .The website will quote free shipping on a total of all items purchased and not based on qualifying items. it is up to the user to ensure that the total of qualifying items are over R1000.00 . We can use any shipping method or company to deliver the free shipment.
We can send shipments another company if you prefer not to use those integrated into the website - this service takes longer and can add a couple of day's delay into getting the order out. We can also use a different shipping company to that quoted on the website.
Fastway courier packages are priced the same irrespective of the weight and the maximum limit per package is about 20kg. For the purposes of calculating this weight, the website automatically rounds all types of grain up to the nearest kilogram. If your order contains the following: 3.5kg Malt A, 0.1kg Malt B, 0.3kg Malt C and 0.1kg Malt D, the shipping weight of the order is 4kg Malt A, 1kg Malt B, 1kg Malt C, 1kg Malt D for a combined parcel shipping weight of 7kg
Courier packages are sent on a Tuesday or Thursday and the cut-off time for the order’s proof of payment to reach us is 3:00 pm the previous day. E.g. If you want your package to be sent on the Tuesday then the proof of payment has to reach us no later than 3:00 pm on Monday, or 3:00 pm on Wednesday for packages leaving on Thursday.
Orders can only be packed when proof of payment is received. Payfast automatically sends us a proof of payment and if you pay via EFT, you will have to manually send proof of payment to firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively wait until your bank eventually deposits the funds into our account before the package is packed and sent with the next available collection date.
All couriers used are a third party service and we have no control over the delivery date. If you specify a delivery date on the order comments, this will be ignored as we ship by default on Tuesday and Thursday. We occasionally ship faster when we are able. When the package leaves, it is out of our hands. You will however be furnished with a tracking number once it is allocated and the day after the package has left it usually reflects on the system. The system automatically sends the tracking number but every now and again it never reaches the recipient. If you do not receive the tracking number, please login to your account – it will be appended to the order, or pop us an email.
As a rule of thumb for Fastway: pink, lime, blue and brown labels take one working day; red takes one to two working days; orange takes two to three working days; grey takes four to five working days to deliver. Mostly dependent on the local franchise that services your area. All the couriers we use only work on Monday to Friday and are closed on weekends and public holidays.

We do our best to package your order for the journey, but every now and again something can get damaged or lost in transit. The orders are shipped without delivery or damage insurance at the customer's risk to keep costs down. Should you wish to insure the shipment against delivery and damage, please contact Brewmart on email@example.com before it ships so that a quote for this additional charge can be sent.
Should there be items in the package that are not compatible for shipping purposes in the same package e.g. acid and base we will notify you so that the order can be amended as the courier will probably not accept the package. We use the address provided at registration to ship to (you need to complete every field accurately and in full) - if the package is returned as undeliverable you will have to provide a different address and will be billed again for the shipping at courier rates. if the courier rates have gone up, you will be billed at the new rates to resend. Please keep your details up to date on the system.
Every now and again packing mistakes occur. We will send all product returns and back orders via a service that we nominate which can also include the South African Post Office. Should you wish Brewmart to use another delivery channel, the difference in price needs to be paid. Should an item be defective in design, please do not ship it before contacting us beforehand.
